For parents...

We at ICDA firmly believe that parental involvement is paramount to student success regardless of educational setting. There are several methods for parents to become involved and stay informed about their student's academic progress:

Talk to your student; ask about their school day
Provide a nurturing environment making sure they sleep well, eat well and observe proper hygiene and dress code
Provide adequate transportation to and from school
Make sure your student attends school and reports to class on time
Call the school and ask about your student's
- Attendance
- Grades and class participation
Contact your student's teacher or an administrator via e-mail
Read the Student/Parent Handbook
Check your student's progress online at Infinite Campus
Make sure we have your correct address, phone numbers and e-mail on file; if you move or change phone numbers please... let us know!

Automated Attendance Notifications

For each class period, usually before the period in question ends, ICDA will notify you via an automated phone messaging system should your student's attendance fall in one of the following attendance codes:

Absent (UNV)
Truant (TRU)
Suspended (SUS)
